Clipboard
Monitor
Released 07/01/2011 |
Google Chrome v8+ includes a new feature
that causes an annoyance when highlighting only the www.xxx.xxx part of
an address only to find Chrome silently includes the http:// part as
well. Many users including myself have complained about this
new feature and as Google are not appearing to acknowledge that this is
an issue or at least give users the option to turn this feature on or
off the only option I have found is to write my own utility which
monitors the Windows Clipboard and remove the http:// part out of the
clipboard.
Clipboard Monitor will auto-detect and remove the http:// part of an
address that has been written to the clipboard so works around the
issue.

RunAsX64
v1.1
Released 31/05/2010 |
RunAsX64 is a command line utility
to workaround Windows 64bit
Operating Systems where background redirection redirects 32bit host
applications
silently to the C:\Windows\SysWoW64 folder.
As RunAsX64 is a 64bit program it will
successfully execute programs
stored in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
On
x64
Windows Operating Systems 32bit applications that call programs from
the
C:\Windows\System32 folder are silently redirected by the
Windows x64 OS
to the C:\Windows\SysWoW64 folder, this is fine if the application you
are
calling has a 32bit equivalent but in cases where a 32bit equivalent
does not
exist the 32bit application will fail to execute the program.
The
SysNative command should get around this issue however as always this
is not
always the case (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942589 for
more information).

Connection - AutoAccept
Released 20/03/2010 |
The
purpose of AutoAccept program is to automate the approval of the
security prompts introduced in v6.0 and v6.1 Remote Desktop
Connection software provided by Microsoft.
The
security enhancements made in RDP v6.x are a good idea but can get
annonying when you know the workstations/servers you are connecting to
are at a trusted destination.
The
AutoAccept programs are written in AutoITv3 scripting language (http://www.autoitscript.com).
