Connection to database failed

The following error is reported after installing RCM for the first time:

Connection to database failed.
System Data Source 'dsn=RCM;' cannot be found.

The error is caused by the System Data Source RCM missing from the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
To fix the problem follow these steps:-

Windows x64 OS
1. Open C:\Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32.exe
2. Select System DSN Tab.
3. Set the driver to Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)
4. Set the Data Source Name to RCM.
5. Click on the Select button.
6. Browse to the C:\Program Files\Remote Control Manager\clients.mdb file.
7. Click OK to save the changes.
8. Run RCM and login.

Windows x86 OS
1. Open C:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe
2. Select System DSN Tab.
3. Set the driver to Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb).
4. Set the Data Source Name to RCM.
5. Click on the Select button.
6. Browse to the C:\Program Files\Remote Control Manager\clients.mdb file.
7. Click OK to save the changes.
8. Run RCM and login.
